The Dublin City Council is looking to refurbish and change the use of the Red Stables located in Saint Anne's park. With a focus of conserving the original building and staying true to its history, the client wishes for the new space to be accessible for all ages and abilities, it should be a welcome centre, complete with areas for people to work in, a cafe, and community spaces such as an art studio. There should also be residence spaces, in the form of 1 bed, 2 bed, and 3 bed apartments, these residences will be targeted towards young families, as well as elderly people, in a medium to high income bracket. The council wants the refurbishment to connect to the surrounding park, to the nature and structures surrounding the Red Stables.
